Day of the Dead Celebration

On Sunday November  2, we will celebrate the Día de los Muertos in Mexico. Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday focusds on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have passed away.
The celebration takes place on October 31st, November 1st, and November 2nd in connection with the triduum of Allhallowtide: All Hallows' Eve, Hallowmas, and All Souls' Day. People build alters (called ofrendas) honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, Mexican or Aztec marigolds and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed.

These gifts are taken to  graves of the loved ones.
They also leave the possessions of the deceased. This is your chance to experience the culture of México.
